Vanessa Taylor, MS, LPC, LCDC

She/Her

A session with me is like a warm cup of your favorite herbal tea. I do my best to create a relational environment that is inviting, comforting, and connected. I believe in the importance of holding space for emotions of any size and through our shared vulnerability, we can work collaboratively to foster healing. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming person and therapist, and I love supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I am a Licensed  Professional Counselor, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I competed my Master's Degree at Texas Woman's University.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor (LPC-S #67402). I completed my Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master's of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University.

Although my demeanor is peaceful and my vibes are always cozy, I do not shy away from heavier clinical issues. I am EMDR trained, have experience in treating borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, chemical and process addictions, trauma of all natures, changes in spirituality/loss of faith, mood disorders, and grief/loss.

The most important aspect as a counselor is developing a relationship with my clients that feels safe and accepting. The pathway to healing allows us to feel empowered to be our most authentic selves.  You are already stepping into vulnerability just by seeking help, and I would be honored to walk alongside your healing journey, if you’re ready to embark.
