Amber  Ball, MSSW, LCSW

She/her

My grandmother had a saying that has helped define my life and career, “I love who you are.” Every person is individual and unique and it is my job to help you learn and love who that person truly is.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Bachelor's of Social Work in 2006 from the University of North Texas and my Master's of Science in Social Work in 2009 from the University of Texas at Arlington. I received my LMSW in 2010 and my LCSW in 2016.

I worked as a social worker in many capacities before deciding to devote my life to counseling. These endeavors within CPS, private foster care, a medical hospital, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and finally

outpatient counseling gives me an advantage of seeing the world and people from many differing angles that not all are privy to.

I have experience working with all age rages, both children and adults, individually and as a family unit in areas of depression, anxiety, abuse, self-harm, insecurities, neurodivergence, and trauma. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and keep a very open-mind with all of my clients.

I specialize in personality disorders. I have a passion for supporting adolescent females in building their confidence and self worth. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and often use this approach with Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for an eclectic approach. I collaborate with each client to define their strengths and build upon them for success.
