Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate supervised by Kiersten Rapstine, MS, LPC-Supervisor. She holds an MS in Counseling from the University of North Texas, and a BA in English and Rhetoric from the University of Texas at Austin. She specializes in anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and interpersonal relationships. She works primarily with adults, and has worked with The Renfrew Center of Texas, Santé Center for Healing, and Grace Counseling Center. Rebecca’s approach to therapy is holistic, which allows her to provide a safe space in which clients can explore and accept who they are. Her training is person-centered, so she focuses on the present, while helping clients examine their past experiences that may continue to impact them. She has a non-directive and supportive manner that encourages openness and trust in the therapeutic relationship. She integrates expressive arts as appropriate to help clients explore the parts of themselves that may not be accessible through traditional talk therapy.
