Rachael Tillerson, MA, LPC
Rachael Rachael received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Religion and her Master’s degree in Family Psychology at Hardin Simmons University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She uses a holistic approach meaning she looks at the biological, social, psychological, and spiritual components of each individual. The therapeutic approach used will depend on each individual’s needs, preferences, and current situation. She works with ages 3 years old and up (children/adolescents/adults). Her experience includes individual, couples, group, and family therapy in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, self-esteem, abandonment, and relationship issues. She is dedicated to helping parents/caregivers understand their child or adolescent for improved communication and trust. She utilizes play therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral, solution- focused, and experiential therapy to expand each individual's ability to understand and express their feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Other experience includes providing chemical dependency evaluations and psychological evaluations.
